Support
Questions, problems, or ideas: write to support@tokendeck.app. I answer in English or German.
It helps to include your macOS version, the TokenDeck version (Settings > About), and what the panel says. Please never send a token, an API key, or the contents of auth.json; support never needs them.
What you need
- macOS 14 or later.
- Claude: Claude Code, signed in with a Claude plan.
- Codex: the Codex CLI, signed in with ChatGPT.
- OpenRouter: an API key from openrouter.ai/settings/keys, pasted in Settings > OpenRouter.
Common questions
Claude says "No Claude Code login on this Mac"
Open Claude Code in Terminal, sign in, then choose Retry in the panel. TokenDeck reads the login only from its default place, so a setup with a custom Claude Code config directory is not supported yet.
macOS asks for access to "Claude Code-credentials"
That is TokenDeck asking to read Claude Code's login, through the macOS security tool. Choose Always Allow, so macOS does not ask again each time Claude Code renews its login. If you chose Deny, choose Retry in the panel to see the prompt again.
Codex says "Not allowed yet"
The Mac App Store keeps apps out of your files until you allow them. Open Settings > Codex, click Choose Folder…, and select the .codex folder in your home folder. If you do not see it, press Shift-Command-Period to show hidden folders. TokenDeck only reads that folder and never writes to it.
Codex shows one long window instead of a session and a week
That is what Codex reports for a free ChatGPT plan. TokenDeck shows exactly the windows the provider reports.
"Checking paused for a moment"
The provider has asked TokenDeck to slow down. The last numbers stay visible, and TokenDeck tries again on its own.
The numbers look dimmed
TokenDeck could not fetch new numbers, for example while offline, so it shows the last ones with the time they were fetched. They update as soon as a request goes through.
How do I remove TokenDeck?
If you added an OpenRouter key, click Remove Key in Settings > OpenRouter first, which deletes it from your Keychain. Then quit TokenDeck and move it to the Trash. Claude Code's and Codex's logins are never touched.
Privacy
TokenDeck collects no data. Read the privacy policy for what it reads and where it goes.
